The Story
Use free draining soil well intergrated with compost or good quality potting mix when growing in pots. A good technique is to sow the seed, at 2-3cm in depth, directly into small mounds of compost that will ensure adequate nutrition and drainage. Hand pollination recommended. Nasturtium is a great companion plant, with best food partners being dill, mint and fritters!
When to plant (see zone map to find your zone):
Zone 1: October - December
Zone 2: September - December
Zone 3: August - February
Zone 4: February - November
